The announcement positions Samsung at the forefront of next‑generation display engineering, blending cutting‑edge color technology with an architectural design philosophy.
Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung's Visual Display Business, described the launch as a culmination of the company's long‑term vision for Micro RGB technology. "Micro RGB represents the peak of our picture quality innovation, and the new 130‑inch model takes that vision even further," he said. "We're reviving the spirit of our original design philosophy introduced more than a decade ago to deliver an unmistakably premium display, engineered with technology for a new generation."
The new model's design is central to Samsung's message. With its monumental scale and refined aesthetic, the 130‑inch Micro RGB TV is crafted to resemble an expansive architectural window rather than a traditional television. The updated Timeless Frame - an evolution of Samsung's 2013 Timeless Gallery concept - creates a gallery‑like presence, allowing the screen to appear as though it floats within its borders. The frame also houses an integrated audio system calibrated to the display’s size, creating a unified visual and acoustic experience.
Beyond its design, the 130" Samsung R95H introduces the brand's most advanced Micro RGB technologies to date. The display is powered by the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, Micro RGB Color Booster Pro, and Micro RGB HDR Pro, a trio of AI‑driven systems that enhance color accuracy, contrast, and detail across both bright and shadowed scenes. The panel achieves 100% of the BT.2020 color gamut through Micro RGB Precision Color 100 and has been certified by the Verband der Elektrotechnik (VDE) for its precise color reproduction.
Samsung's proprietary Glare Free technology further improves viewing clarity by minimizing reflections, ensuring consistent color and contrast in a wide range of lighting environments. The TV also supports HDR10+ ADVANCED and Eclipsa Audio for elevated picture and sound performance.
On the software side, the model integrates Samsung's enhanced Vision AI Companion, enabling conversational search, proactive content recommendations, and access to a suite of AI‑powered features and applications. These include AI Football Mode Pro, AI Sound Controller Pro, Live Translate, Generative Wallpaper, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity.
