TCL 27U8A Pro a.k.a. FFalcon 27U8A Pro and TCL 27U8A a.k.a. FFalcon 27U8A.
Each of the pair features a 27‑inch IPS panel with a QD-Mini LED backlighting and a native resolution of 3840 x 2160. The display supports 10‑bit color through 8‑bit + FRC processing and employs Quantum Dot Color technology. Both the sRGB and DCI‑P3 gamuts are covered at 99%, positioning the monitor as a strong option for creators who need accurate color reproduction. The TCL 27U8A Pro / FFalcon 27U8A Pro reaches an impressive peak brightness of 2000 cd/m², backed by VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification and 2304 local dimming zones, enabling deep contrast and high‑impact HDR performance. The TCL 27U8A / FFalcon 27U8A delivers a peak brightness of 1200 nits with VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification and 1196 local dimming zones.
The refresh‑rate system is one of the standout features of these two monitors. In native 4K mode, the 27U8A Pro and 27U8A operate between 48 Hz and 160 Hz, while a dual‑mode configuration allows Full HD operation at up to 320 Hz. This flexibility makes the monitors suitable for both high‑fidelity visual work and competitive gaming. TCL pairs the panel with a 1 ms response time and broad Adaptive‑Sync support, including AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G‑Sync Compatible operation. Additional gaming‑oriented features include dark‑field control, real‑time frame‑rate readouts, game timers, and genre‑specific presets.
Both monitors have a clean black‑and‑white aesthetic and offer a full suite of ergonomic adjustments. The stand supports height changes up to 125 mm, a bi-directional pivot, +/-20 degrees of swivel, and a tilt range from –5 to +15 degrees. However, the Pro model features TCL's Wings of Light RGB ambient lights on the rear shell. Furthermore, the Pro model boasts a pair of 5W speakers.
Further differences between the two models are hidden in the connectivity department. The TCL 27U8A Pro / FFalcon 27U8A Pro features a USB‑C port with 90W power delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode, enabling KVM support, a USB‑B upstream port, two USB‑A downstream ports, two HDMI 2.1 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4 input, and a 3.5 mm audio output. At the same time, the TCL 27U8A / FFalcon 27U8A is equipped with a pair of HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 input and a headphone jack.
