It is an interesting monitor that can appeal to those who want a single unit for both work and play. The model belongs to the Evnia 5000 series and arrives with the Evnia Precision Center software. It features a 27-inch Fast IPS display with a native 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate with Adaptive-Sync technology. Supporting dual-mode function, it can also operate at an FHD resolution with a 480Hz refresh rate. A 0.3 ms MPRT is also specified. The 27M2N5800P display supports 8-bit+FRC color bit depth and supports up to 120% sRGB color volume and 95% of the DCI-P3 color space. With a typical brightness of 450 nits, the model is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified. The static contrast ratio measures 1100:1. The Philips 27M2N5800P arrives with a number of useful features. The gaming-centered ones included Smart Sniper, Smart Crosshair, Smart MBR Sync, Low Input Lag, SmartImage Game, and Stark Shadow Boost. Further monitor features include EasyRead, EasySelect, MultiView with PbP and PiP, Low Blue Light, SmartContrast, and SmartUniformity. The model features a fully ergonomic stand with a tripod base. It enables up to 130 mm of height adjustment, a bi-directional pivot, +/-30 degrees of swivel, and -5 to 20 degrees of tilt. Moreover, the Philips 27M2N5800P is fitted with two HDMI 2.1 ports, a single DisplayPort 2.1 input, a headphone jack, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports (one with fast charging), and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B upstream port. Pricing remains unknown at the moment and there's no information whether the monitor will be available internationally.
