I bought this monitor with the highest expectations but recently this equipment began to fail and unexpectedly stopped giving an image, as soon as the extended warranty that I had purchased was passed, the cost of the fix resulted in a factory error that has already been reported by others. users was about 300 dollars to change the board card, my daily use of the monitor did not exceed 7 hours because it was a device that I had only at home and the rest of the day I worked with other devices at my job. I do not recommend buying it now, there are better monitors at a good price, I regret this purchase.

The Huawei Mateview 28" Monitor was my first in years. I use it in conjunction with an Apple 2020 MacBook Air M1 which is connected via HDMI. The initial set-up took a minute but in no way distracts from the user experience. I have now used the Huawei Monitor for over 6 months and it has never let me down. I am a Digital Nomad so I work from Home mainly in web design, mktg. and limited SEO/SEM utilizing ADOBE SaaS and APPLE Final Cut Pro daily. The MacBook and Monitor are in use for up to 12 hours per day without a hitch. In conclusion Huawei Mateview 28" has delivered as promised + beyond. For those of you who aren't concerned that Huawei will snitch to Chinese Government Security Operatives (as proclaimed by US backed Intel) then I say: Go forth + Prosper with this attractive exceptional well designed (ala Apple) and reasonably priced monitor. I thought I was going to like the 3:2 aspect ratio more than I did. I think for a large monitor (compared with a small laptop for example) it actually works fine to have 16:9. 3:2 is perhaps better for laptop monitors. This monitor has visible brightness issues at the edge of the screen. You can see for example the bottom left looks dimmer. But other than that it's a great monitor.
