Apple previews tvOS 13 arrives with a re-designed launcher, multi-user support, etc.

Apple has just previewed tvOS 13 which lies at the base of what Apple is gradually achieving in the TV business as it did in the smartphone one - creating a unified Apple ecosystem that integrates hardware, software and media content. For starters, the new OS offers a re-designed home screen with full-screen video playback on it. Secondly, multi-user support allows each user to enjoy privacy and personally-tailored content via the Apple TV Control Centre. This also makes enjoying music far easier simply by getting access to personalized playlists, recommendations, etc.
Apple Arcade is a new feature for the Apple TV 4K which will be available with the tvOS 13 this fall. It allows a family of six to enjoy more than 100 games with a single subscription. It is compatible with all Apple devices, of course - iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac and Apple TV. Xbox and PlayStation game controllers are also supported by the new OS. New screensavers are created by filming under the sea together with the BBC Natural History Unit (the "Blue Planet" team).
