The new AOpen 43XV1C P is a big-format gaming monitor featuring a 43.8-inch flat IPS display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The model has just seen the light of day and AOpen does not reveal some details such as dimensions and weight but the important data is present. The monitor has an ultra-wide resolution of 3840 x 1080 pixels, supports 8-bit+FRC color bit depth, covers 93% of the DCI-P3 color space, has a typical brightness of 350 nits and a peak one of 400 nits. Hence, the VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. 1 ms TVR is also specified. Despite the big screen, the stane manages to offer a good choice of ergonomic options - up to 95 mm of height adjustment, +/-15 degrees of swivel, -5/15 degrees of tilt. It can also be removed for VESA wall mounting. AOpen says the monitor uses 75 x 75 mm holes. There is an HDMI 1.4 port supporting up to 60Hz, an HDMI 2.0 port, and a DisplayPort 1.2 each supporting up to 120Hz. A headphone jack plus two 2W speakers are also on board. AOpen VisionCare technologies for flicker-free backlight and low blue light are provided as well. Pricing remains unknown at the moment.
