Xiaomi might launch a Redmi TV lineup in the near futureSome of the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturers are aspiring to capture a share in the smart TV market. For over a year, it's been speculated about the OnePlus TV and the Huawei Honor Vision TV, however, it was Xiaomi that was first to the TV market. Moreover, the president of its TV division, Li Xiaoshuang, has announced on Weibo "Today, I met with Lu Weibing and found that friends are quite powerful and should pay attention to it." Lu Weibing is the president of the Redmi brand, meaning that another smartphone brand of Xiaomi - Redmi will also launch a TV lineup. In the smartphone realm, Redmi offers low prices and high-end features. If it retains this profile in the smart TV market, this might bring serious heat to a rather well-established field just like the Redmi smartphones do ever since their first appearance.
