Gigabyte G32QC A and G27QC A with QHD VA panels, 1500R curvature, and 165Hz refresh rate go officialExactly a year later, Gigabyte unveils successors of two of its gaming monitors from 2020. The Gigabyte G32QC and the Gigabyte G27QC are succeeded by the Gigabyte G32QC A and the Gigabyte G27QC A. At a first glance the new monitors are identical to the old ones. However, we managed to detect minor differences - slight changes in the color space coverage and slightly increased power consumption. Other changes are also possible if the models' listings on Gigabyte's website are not final and are about to be updated. Currently, there's no mention that the new models are NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible as the old ones. Whenever such information is available, it will be added to the specifications. The Gigabyte G27QC A has a 27-inch VA display panel with QHD resolution and 1500R curvature. It covers 132% of the sRGB and 88% of the DCI-P3 color space. The display provides 250 cd/m² brightness and 4000:1 static contrast ratio. 1 ms MPRT and 165Hz refresh rate (AMD FreeSync Premium). The stand offers height and tilt adjustment. The connectivity options remain unclear - the scheme and photo of the monitor's ports unveil two HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, two USB 3.0 Type-A, and a Type-B port, headphone jack. However, the specifications on the Gigabyte website say two DisplayPort 1.2 inputs and does not mention the Type-B upstream port. So this remains to be cleared out when the monitor is available to the market. The Gigabyte G32QC A has a 31.5-inch VA panel with a QHD resolution, 1500R curvature, 8-bit color support. It offers 300 nits typical brightness and 3000:1 static contrast ratio as well as covers 121% of the sRGB and 93% of the DCI-P3 color space. The maximum refresh rate is 165Hz thanks to AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. The stand allows tilt and height adjustment. The connectivity options remain unchanged - two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a USB Type-B upstream port, two HDMI 2.0 inputs, DisplayPort 1.2, headphone jack.

Pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
