Hisense showcases a number of new TVs, including a quantum-dot series at CES 2017Hisense is a well-known TV brand that has announced a plethora of new smart TVs at the CES 2017 in Las Vegas. The H10D series includes the brand's flagship models, all of which incorporate the quantum-dot technology. They are Ultra HD Premium certified, support HDR and have a wide color gamut. Several other technologies are available on these TVs such as the Motion 480 and UHD upscaling. The 70-inch model is priced at USD 3000, while the 75-inch one costs USD 6000. The second series has two sub-ones. The H9D Plus Series features Motion 240 and the H9D one has Motion 120. The rest of the characteristics are the same as those of the H10D models, except for the quantum-dot technology. These TVs have edge-lit local dimming, the only exception being the 75-inch H9D Plus model, which has a direct-lit local dimming. It costs USD 2500, the 65-inch H9D Plus is priced at USD 2000, the 55- and 50-inch models cost USD 1300 and USD 1000, respectively. The standard H9D series includes a 65-inch TV priced at USD 1300, a 55-inch one that costs USD 900 and a 50-inch one priced at USD 600. The Hisense H8D series uses direct-lit local dimming in all of its models. It supports HDR, but does not cover a wide color space like the previous series. The 86-inch model costs USD 6000, the 65-inch one - USD 1300, the 55-inch TV is priced at USD 650, and the 50-inch one retails for USD 550. Then the H7D series follows and features Motion 120, UHD upscaling and is HDR compatible. It contains a 65-inch model (USD 900), a 55-inch one (USD 600), a 50-inch TV (USD 500), and a 43-inch one (USD 400). The R8 and R6 series include a total of 5 Roku TVs. Of course, they run Roku OS and are HDR10 compatible. The R8 model is only one - 75-inch, and is more advanced than the R6 ones as it support Dolby Vision and has a direct-lit dimming. The TV is priced at USD 2000. The R6 models include a 65-inch TV that retails at USD 900, a 55-inch one that costs USD 550, a 50- and a 43-inch device that are priced at USD 450 and USD 400, respectively. The time when all these models will go on sale is not specified yet.
