nubia unveils a trio of Red Magic gaming monitors, one with a wireless projector, two with Mini LED backlightsnubia is a smartphone brand with ZTE as its parent. The brand has entered seriously into the gaming market with its Red Magic / Red Devil series of gaming smartphones and now - with a gaming keyboard, mouses, and a series of gaming monitors. These will be available in China only at first. If the brand persists in creating gaming monitors that sell successfully, it might as well offer them globally - just like it happened with its smartphones. The announcement was made as usual - on the brand's Weibo page.

The first nubia Red Magic Gaming Monitor features a 27-inch Fast IPS display with a 4K resolution and a Mini LED backlight using 2304 mini LEDs allotted in 1152 partitions. This is a second-generation panel from AUO. The model is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified. It uses automatic ambient adjustment, and ultra-high frequency PWM dimming and is also TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certified. With a refresh rate of up to 160Hz, this gaming monitor is both AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync compatible. The display covers 99% of the sRGB, 99% of the DCI-P3, and 99% of the Adobe RGB color space. In addition, the nubia Red Magic Gaming Monitor is fitted with two HDMI 2.1 inputs, DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB Type-C port with up to 90W power delivery and DP Alt Mode. The ergonomic stand offers height, swivel, and tilt adjustment. There's a triangularly shaped RGB lights element on the back panel that has seven different modes. This monitor has two versions - one with and one without a built-in mmWave wireless projection technology for lossless, low-latency, and wireless 4K projection. It has an ultra-long sensitivity of up to 30 meters and supports automatic recognition with multi-device support.

The third monitor has a 27-inch Fast IPS display with a QHD resolution, 400 nits of brightness, and up to a 240Hz refresh rate. The display covers 99% of the sRGB and 99% of the Adobe RGB color space. It is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified and has W-LED backlight. The connectivity options include an HDMI 2.0 input, DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB Type-C port. The ergonomic options remain the same - height, tilt, and swivel. Pricing is not announced yet. The models will go on sale in China in September.
