It's official - Panasonic took the wraps off its first OLED TVPanasonic TX-65CZ950 is the first OLED TV by Panasonic and the company seem really proud of its achievement. For starters, it stresses on the fact that the 65-inch OLED panel provides "deeper blacks than Panasonic's legendary plasma TVs, while also avoiding the picture noise associated with plasma technology." The best in panel quality is coupled with the best in picture processing. The model packs a "specially modified version of the powerful professional-level 4K Studio Master Processor", including pro-grade 3D Colour Look Up tables. It has been fine-tuned by leading specialists in the film industry, including Hollywod's famous colorist Mike Sowa. Moreover, the Panasonic TX-65CZ950 is the first 4K OLED TV to be so certified by THX, which proves that the TV provides contrast and clarity delivered only by professional monitors. Additionally, the model supports the new HDR tech that makes colors more vivid and life-like. Finally, this TV does not only provides the best in technology, but also the best in design. It is made of aluminum with an ultra-slim profile, elegant pedestal and a curved top rim of the back upholstered with Alcantara. Panasonic aimed to make it like a piece of luxury furniture and they have nailed it.
