I like this monitor. Easy on the eyes, even on long playing days. I use it with a RX 5700 XT at 144fps, 1440p with basic freesync so the monitor displays only 60 fps. The image quality is good and I love the OSD controls. I'm surprised that this unit gets bad reviews as I like the picture quality. I also have a VG27BQ, the picture quality is a bit better and it runs at 144 fps. I can't tell the difference between 60 fps and 144 fps as the games are as responsive on both monitors. So as long as you run the GPU at 144fps and the monitor at 60 fps you still get the very short latency from the keyboard/mouse input of running at 144 fps. I wanted to by the VG27AQ, it's an IPS panel, and only the VG27BQ was in stock. The image quality of the BQ is amazing so I'm keeping it. The VG27BQ is a TN panel. It's also 14% cheaper in Canada right now. Finally I think that 60 fps is all the human eye can see, 60fps + is a waste of money (for the monitor, not for the GPU) and also 4k (the 27UD58 is a 4k monitor) is not worth it for a screen below 55 inch. We can't tell the difference between 1440p and 2160p as far as image quality goes.
