Acer Nitro XV242F appears in China with a 540Hz FHD TN display

Acer Nitro XV242F has appeared on a third-party vendor's listing on TaoBao. According to the listing, this monitor has a 24.1" TN display with an FHD resolution and a 540Hz refresh rate - just like the Asus ROG Swift Pro PG248QP which was announced at CES 2023. The two monitors have one and the same display panel by AU Optronics with 400 nits of brightness, 1000:1 contrast, 99% sRGB and 90% DCI-P3 color space coverage, 1 ms GTG response time. Unlike the Asus model, the Acer one does not use an NVIDIA G-Sync processor and is listed as an NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible monitor.
The Acer Nitro XV242F has a fully ergonomic stand for up to 115 mm of height adjustment, bi-directional pivot, swivel, and tilt. The connectivity options include two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4 input, and a headphone jack. A pair of 2W speakers is also on board. Obviously, the monitor will be launched in early November. The current listing price is CNY 4999 and most likely it will change be the time the product starts selling.
