Samsung introduces two Smart Monitor series powered by Tizen OS - the M7 and M5Samsung launched two Smart Monitors series powered by its own Tizen OS that is usually found on Samsung's smart TVs. These are the M7 Series and the M5 series which include the 32" 4K Samsung 32M70A, the 32" FHD Samsung 32M50A, and the 27" FHD Samsung 27M50A.

The a href="">Samsung 32M70A features a 32-inch VA display panel with a 4K UHD resolution, 250 nits typical brightness, 3000:1 static contrast ratio, 8-bit color support, 60Hz native refresh rate, 8 ms GTG response time, and HDR10 support. The Samsung 32M50A is equipped with a 31.5-inch VA display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 250 nits brightness, HDR10 support. The Samsung 27M50A has a 27-inch VA display, again with an FHD resolution and the same brightness level.

The connectivity options of the Samsung 32M70A include two HDMI 2.0 ports with HDMI CEC, three USB Type-A 2.0 downstream ports, a USB Type-C port with 65W power delivery. The FHD monitors from the M5 series have two HDMI 2.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports. No USB-C connectivity.

All three monitors run on Tizen 5.5 and support Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, run on Tizen 5.5. The model also supports smartphone to screen mirroring, DLNA, Tap View, sound mirroring. The stand can be removed for VESA wall mounting (100 x 100 mm) and provides titl adjustment only. The usual monitor features include Eye Saver Mode, flicker-free technology, Game Mode, Ultrawide Game View, Auto Source Switch+, Adaptive Picture. Each monitor has a pair of 5W integrated stereo speakers.

The Tizen OS onboard the smart monitors ensures a number of smart features. They support wireless DeX for a full PC experience, without any PC. With Tap View, App Casting, or Apple AirPlay 2 the mobile mirroring is enabled. Moreover, the monitors operate Microsoft Office 365 applications without a PC connection. This means that you can view, edit, and save documents in the cloud directly from the monitor via Wi-Fi. Remote Access also allows you to wirelessly and remotely access files from a PC or view content from a laptop if you're away from it. There's an app store and you can stream your favorite content including Netflix, HBO, and YouTube even without a connection to a PC or mobile device. The remote control includes streaming service hotkeys. Voice assistants are also supported - Samsung's Bixby.
