BenQ has presented a new series of desktop monitors - the G80, with minimalist style and progressive eye-careBenQ has added to its product line of desktop monitors the G80 series, which currently includes four models. The new series has a distinguishable minimalist design, very slim bezels, and is focused on providing enhanced eye-care. The latter includes the provision of BenQ's Flicker-free and Low Blue Light technologies. "The G80 Series monitors embody the latest in BenQ design sensibility," said Conway Lee, President of BenQ Corporation. "Their beautifully graceful forms seamlessly integrate natural functionality to promote utter simplicity in daily life and work." BenQ GW2480 and GW2780 pack IPS panels with an FHD resolution and diagonal size of 23.8 in and 27 in, respectively. Their typical brightness measures 250 cd/m2 and the viewing angles are 178/178. The static contrast ratio is 1000:1, the refresh rate measures 5 ms, and the NTSC colour space coverage is 72%. These models also feature BenQ's Brightness Intelligence Technology, which adapts the brightness taking into account the on-screen content and ambient light conditions. BenQ GL2580H and GL2580HM feature TN panels with FHD resolutions, 170/160‎ viewing angles and fast 2 ms response time. The diagonal sizes of the models measure 24.5 inches. The typical brightness, contrast ratio and colour gamut coverage are the same as those of the previous two models. The G80 series will launch later this month in Europe and Asia.Source
