Asus VZ27AQ - the newest Eye Care monitor from Asus with a 27" WQHD displayAsus VZ27AQ is the newest Eye Care monitor from the Taiwanese giant. It sports a 27-inch IPS panel with a WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440). It boasts an ultra-slim profile with a depth of 7 mm at its thinnest point and the minimal bezels make it suitable for multi-monitor setups. Being an Eye Care monitor, the model incorporates the TÜV Rheinland-certified Asus Blue Light Filter and Flicker Free technology. There's an EyeCheck function, too, with three different patterns for short- and long-sightedness. The LED-backlit IPS panel provides 178° viewing angles and a 80 000 000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The static contrast ratio is 1000:1 and the typical brightness measures 250 cd/sq.m. The GTG response time is 5ms. Asus VZ27AQ boasts two 2W built-in speakers, an HDMI, D-Sub, DisplayPort, a 3.5 mm mini-jack, and Kensington security lock. The stand provides only tilt adjustment (from -5° to 22°). Pricing is yet unknown, but a similar model - Asus VZ279Q, with an FHD panel costs EUR 263.Source
