Yesterday, Flipkart, which is India's largest online retailer, and Nokia, which is owned by the Chinese HMD Global, announced that it will partner to launch in India smart TVs equipped JBL sound system - an initiative by Harman India. The future TVs will have Nokia's branding and Flipkart will be engaged with the manufacturing in India and end-to-end sales. JBL by Harman is known for high-quality audio equipment and this will be its first occurrence on smart TVs in India.

Flipkart and Nokia have launched the first Nokia smart TV in India. The Nokia 55CAUHDN features a 55-inch 4K ADS display panel (3840 x 2160) with a typical brightness of 400 nits and static contrast ratio of 1200:1.
