Xiaomi Redmi X85 is yet another big-screen TV for China

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi X85 (L85RA-RX) smart TV in China. The Redmi brand is positioned slightly below Xiaomi's brand and combines budget-friendly prices with competitive specs. In China, this model costs CNY 4499 which equals EUR 589 and USD 650. The TV has an 85-inch 4K VA display with a Direct LED backlight, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit color bit depth support. The brightness of the model is from 300 to 500 nits and the static contrast ratio is 5000:1. The response time is 8 ms. The TV is powered by a quad-core Cortex-A55 CPU with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. The audio department comprises a pair of 10W speakers with DTS-HD. Far-field voice interaction is also supported. The connectivity options include a LAN port, a cable/antenna input, an AV Component input, two HDMI ports, an optical audio out, a USB 2.0 and a USB 3.0 port, dual-band Wi-Fi.
