The Hisense U75QG series is designed to deliver a premium viewing experience for US audiences, combining advanced display technology with intelligent performance. It is probably one of the most sought-after series of Mini LED TVs by the brand in the U.S. We've received contradicting information from various sources about the display panels and the number of local dimming zones of the models comprising the series. The Hisense USA team was very kind to respond to our direct inquiry for the correct information. So here it is:
- Hisense 116U75QG specifications - VA; 3168 LDZ
- Hisense 100U75QG specifications - VA; 2304 LDZ
- Hisense 85U75QG specifications - VA; 2940 LDZ
- Hisense 75U75QG specifications - VA; 2340 LDZ
- Hisense 65U75QG specifications - VA; 1800 LDZ
- Hisense 55U75QG specifications - IPS-ADS PRO; 1260 LDZ
At the core of the U75QG series lies the Hi‑View AI Engine Pro, powered by the MediaTek Pentonic 800 (MT9655) chipset. This system includes a 1.8GHz quad‑core Cortex‑A73 CPU and a Mali‑G57 GPU, enabling a wide range of AI‑driven features. These include AI Picture and AI Sound for optimized visuals and audio, AI Scenario and AI Energy for adaptive performance, AI 4K Upscaling and AI Detail Enhancement for sharper images, AI HDR Enhancement and AI Smooth Motion for lifelike contrast and fluidity, and AI Sports Mode for clarity during fast‑paced action.
The audio system is equally impressive. Each U75QG TV is equipped with a 2.1.2 channel speaker array delivering between 50 and 60 watts of output, depending on the model. The setup includes two main speakers, two side‑firing speakers, and a powerful 20‑watt subwoofer. Enhanced audio features such as Dolby Atmos, Dolby MS12, EzPlay 3.0, Hi‑Concert 2.0, Nicam Stereo, Room Fitting Tuning, TV Mode 2.0, and WiSA SoundSend compatibility ensure immersive sound that matches the visual performance.
Design is another highlight of the U75QG series. The Infinity Vision aesthetic creates a sleek, borderless look. The 116- and 100‑inch models use a stand with sticks, while all other sizes feature pedestal stands. Each TV comes with a backlit voice remote equipped with a G‑sensor. Running on Google TV, the series offers extensive connectivity options, including four HDMI 2.1 ports, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, a LAN port, headphone jack, optical audio out, AV composite input, 3.5mm jack, and cable/antenna input. Wireless connectivity is equally robust, with Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) support.
Current promotions for the Hisense U75QG include serious discounts. At retailers such as Walmart, Best Buy, and Amazon, the 55U75QG costs as low as USD 528, the 65U75QG is USD 868, the 75U75QG is USD 1098, the 85U75QG is USD 1398, and the 100U75QG is USD 2448. The 116U75QG costs USD 15,000. For some of the models, this is more than 50% off from the originally announced prices at launch.
