2021 Sony X80J series goes on pre-sale in the USA and Europe

The 2021 Sony X80J series of 4K LCD TVs is now on pre-sale in the USA and Europe. As of this year, the model naming will not contain any signs that will differ European models from the North American ones. Hence, we've decided in some cases to add to the name an EA suffix for "Europe and Asia" and NA for "North America". The X80J series comprises of five models.
In Europe, it goes hand in hand with the X81J series. Here are the model specifications and prices:
- Sony KD-75X80J / KD-75X81J - GBP 1,499 / EUR 1,649
- Sony KD-65X80J / KD-65X81J - GBP 1,049 / EUR 1,199
- Sony KD-55X80J / KD-55X81J - GBP 899 / EUR 999
- Sony KD-50X80J / KD-50X81J - GBP 799 / EUR 899
- Sony KD-43X80J / KD-43X81J - GBP 699 / EUR 799
In the USA, it is paired with the X80CJ series. Here are the model specifications and prices:

The X80J TVs are pretty much a carry-over from last year's base series. They offer 4K panels with 50/60Hz native refresh rate, 8-bit+FRC color bit depth, and Direct LED backlight with Frame Dimming. The TVs are fitted with Sony's 4K HDR Processor X1 and run on Android TV 10 with Google Assistant, Alexa, Chromecast built-in, Apple Airplay, Apple Homekit, etc. The audio department comprises of a 2.0 CH array with 20W output. The Sony X80J TVs are equipped with two USB ports, four HDMI 2.0 ports, AV Composite in mini jack port, optical audio out, headphone jack.
