The Samsung QN90D series is based on the NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor with Neo Quantum HDR+ for the bigger models and Neo Quantum HDR for the 50" and 43" models, Real Depth Enhancer, 4K AI Upscaling, Auto HDR Remastering, Ultimate UHD Dimming, Expert Calibration, Smart Calibration, Contrast Enhancer Pro, AI Auto Game Mode, AI Image Quality Optimization, AI Saver Mode, etc. The QN90D series is Pantone Validated and Pantone SkinTone Validated for color fidelity. In addition, the 98", 50", and 43" models lack the Anti-glare technology 2.0.
The Samsung QN90D series is equipped with a 4.2.2 CH audio system with Dolby Atmos, Moving Sound+ (OTS+), Q-Symphony, Adaptive Voice Pro, and Adaptive Sound+. The two smaller models have a 2.2CH audio system with Moving Sound Lite (OTS Lite). The connectivity options of the series include four HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a LAN port, optical audio out, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, etc. The QN90D models inherit the design and stand of the QN90C series - NeoSlim Design with a Sharp Neck Hexagon Stand. The 98" model has a 3-sided bezelless display, while the other models have 4-sided bezelless displays.
