Asus TUF Gaming VG259Q specifications are officialOne of the highly expected gaming monitors on the market is finally officially listed on the manufacturer's website. The Asus TUF Gaming VG259Q sports a 24.5-inch IPS panel with a W-LED backlight and 6-bit color. The panel has an FHD resolution and covers 72% of the NTSC color space. It has a typical brightness of 400 nits and a 1000:1 static contrast ratio. The MPRT response time is 1 ms and thanks to the AMD FreeSync tech, the refresh rate range is 48-144Hz (via the DP 1.2 only). The ergonomic stand offers full adjustment options - tilt, swivel, pivot and height. It can also be removed to make way for 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting holes. The Asus TUF Gaming VG259Q has 2x 2W speakers, 2x HDMI 1.4 ports, a 3.5 mm audio out jack and a DisplayPort 1.2. The model arrives with a number of techs on board including ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB), Color Temperature Selection, Flicker-free technology, GamePlus (Crosshair/Timer/FPS Counter/Display Alignment), GameFast Input technology, GameVisual, HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), Low Blue Light, Skin-Tone Selection, Shadow Boost.

We don't have complete details on the exact panel model but as of July, AU Optronics (AUO) has begun mass production of the AUO M250HAN01.6 display panel and we think the Asus TUF Gaming VG259Q is equipped either with that one or the Panda LC238LF1F IGZO panel. The latter is used by the AOC 24G2U5 and AOC 24G2U monitors.
