BenQ MOBIUZ EX240 and BenQ MOBIUZ EX240N go official with 23.8" FHD displays and 165Hz refresh ratesBenQ has unveiled a pair of gaming monitors from its MOBIUZ series - the BenQ MOBIUZ EX240 and the BenQ MOBIUZ EX240N. The two monitors seem to share a lot in common but there are very substantial differences between them.

The BenQ EX240 has a 23.8-inch IPS display with an FHD resolution, 99% sRGB coverage, 350 nits of typical brightness, 1000:1 static contrast ratio, HDR10, 2 ms GTG response time, and 1 ms MPRT. Its stand offers height, swivel, and tilt adjustment, while the connectivity options include two HDMI 2.0 inputs, DisplayPort 1.2, a headphone jack, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, and a Type-B upstream port.

The BenQ EX240N has a 23.8-inch VA display with an FHD resolution, 72% NTSC coverage, 250 nits of typical brightness, 3000:1 static contrast ratio, HDR10, 4 ms GTG response time, and 1 ms MPRT. Its ergonomic options are limited to tilt adjustment only. The connectivity is also downgraded by removing the USB ports and one HDMI 2.0 input, so the model is left with one HDMI 2.0 port, DisplayPort 1.2, and a headphone jack.

Both gaming monitors are AMD FreeSync Premium certified with up to 165Hz refresh rates. They are also TUV Rheinland Flicker-free and Low Blue Light certified. Other BenQ features are also available including Brightness Intelligence Plus (B.I.+), AMA (Advanced Motion Accelerator), Black eQualizer, Color Vibrance, Color Weakness, ePaper, Light Tuner, HDRi, Motion Blur Reduction.

The EX240 costs USD 240, while the EX240N costs USD 240.
