At CES 2018, MSI has introduced two new monitors from its Optix series. MSI Optix MPG27C
and MSI Optix MPG27CQ
are the first MSI monitors to arrive with the GameSense technology built-in. It is developed by SteelSeries and allows accentuating on important moments in the game via light effects. Both models feature curved 27-inch VA panels with a 1800R curvature, 1ms response time, a 144Hz refresh rate, 100% coverage of NTSC and 115% coverage of the sRGB colour space. Each has HDMI ports, DisplayPort 1.2, DVD-D dual link, and VESA mount holes. MSI Optix MPG27C
has an FHD resolution and a brightness of 250 cd/m2
. MSI Optix MPG27CQ
has a QHD resolution and a higher brightness - 400 cd/m2
. It has been named a CES 2018 Innovation Award Honoree. The onboard technologies include AMD's FreeSync, Flicker-free and Low Blue Light.
MSI Optix AG32C is a curved gaming monitor with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 31.5-inch VA panel with a LED backlight, 1080p resolution, 1800R curvature, 3000:1 static contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 typical brightness. The panel covers 85% of the NTSC colour space and 110% of the sRGB gamut.
