The model makes another entrance at Computex 2026 in Taipei. According to MSI representatives, the monitor is expected to launch around July, with an estimated retail price of around USD 815.

This monitor is created for users who want to consolidate their setup into a single screen that can handle high‑resolution work and high‑refresh‑rate gaming. The MAG 271KPD7 features a 27‑inch Rapid IPS display with a native 5K resolution (5120 x 2880 px) a pixel density of 218ppi, delivering exceptionally detailed text, photos, and video. This level of sharpness makes the MAG 271KPD7 suitable for creative work, productivity, and any task where fine detail matters.

The MSI MAG 271KPD7 employs an AI Dual Mode system, which allows the panel to switch between the razor‑sharp 5K resolution at 75Hz and a high‑refresh‑rate WQHD mode at 300Hz. With the latter, the display transforms into a competitive‑grade gaming panel capable of delivering smooth motion and low latency for fast‑paced titles.

The Rapid IPS panel achieves a 0.5 ms GTG response time and promising colour accuracy with a Delta E value of 2 or lower. It is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible. Its connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4a input, a USB Type-C port with 15W power delivery and DP Alt Mode, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, a USB Type-B port, and a headphone jack. A fully ergonomic stand underpins the model, complementing the classic MSI MAG series design.
