Samsung 83" S91C and 77" S89C WOLED TVs are launched in Europe

In July, Samsung launched the Samsung QN83S90C from the S90C series for the North America market. The main feature of this model is that it has a WOLED panel from LG Display, unlike the other models from the S90C series, which have a QD-OLED panel. Samsung is now launching this model in Europe but under a different series - S91C, so you get the Samsung QE83S91C / Samsung TQ83S91Cin select European markets. There's another WOLED-based model - the Samsung QE77S89C / Samsung TQ77S89C.. The 77" model has a stand with sticks that can be adjusted in width unlike the 77" model from the S90C series. The new WOLED TVs can also be seen at IFA 2023 in Berlin.
Both TVs share most of the features of their QD-OLED counterparts. Their displays are HLG, HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive, and HDR10+ Gaming certified. 100% DCI-P3 color space coverage and Pantone Validated certification are also specified. The TV's response time is 0.1 ms GTG and the top refresh rate is 144Hz. HFR and VRR are supported on all four HDMI 2.1 ports.
Image processing relies on the new Quantum Neural Processor with 4K Upscaling. The various technologies supported by the model include Auto Motion Plus, Brightness/Color Detection, Digital Clean View, Dynamic Black EQ, LED Clear Motion, MBR support, Perceptional Color Mapping, and Real Depth Enhancer. Samsung Gaming Hub is also on board with Super Ultrawide GameView & Game Bar 2.0, Motion Xcelerator Turbo Pro, NVIDIA GeForce NOW and HGiG support, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification.
The audio department supports Active Voice Amplifier, Adaptive Sound+, Bluetooth Audio, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Decoder MS12 5.1 CH, Object Tracking Sound+, Q-Symphony 3.0, and Surround Sound. The connectivity options include four HDMI 2.1 ports, sat in and antenna in, optical audio out, a LAN port, three USB Type-A ports, and a port for the One Connect Box. The TVs also arrive with Samsung's SolarCell Remote.
