Add DisplaySpecifications as a preferred source on GoogleViewSonic VP2788-5K was unveiled at Pepcom Digital Experience earlier this month and now the company is ready with the full list of specifications for this monitor. This professional monitor from the ViewSonic ColorPro series boasts a 27-inch IPS display with a 5K resolution (5120 x 2880 px) and a 219 ppi pixel density. The monitor's color accuracy is ensured with a Delta E ≤ 2. The 10-bit panel covers 100% of the sRGB and 99% of the DCI-P3 color space. It supports various color modes and is Mac-compatible. DualVIew mode enabling two color settings on the same image is also supported. The display delivers 500 nits of brightness and a 2000:1 static contrast ratio. It has an AGLR coating with 48% haze. The refresh rate is specified as being 75Hz. The ViewSonic VP2788-5K features a fully ergonomic stand with up to 120 mm of height adjustment, a bi-directional pivot, +/-30 degrees of swivel, and -5 to 22 degrees of tilt. The model also has an expansive set of connectivity options including two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A downstream ports, a downstream and an upstream USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with 15W power delivery, a Thunderbolt 4 upstream port with 100W power delivery, a Thunderbolt 4 downstream port with 15W power delivery, an HDMI 2.1 port, a DisplayPort 1.4 input, and a headphone jack. A pair of 5W speakers is also on board. The ViewSonic VP2788-5K price has not been unveiled yet but ViewSonic said the monitor will go on sale in the first quarter of 2025.
