OnePlus will enter the TV marketOnePlus is a well-known brand for smartphones with premium features and affordable prices but it has just announced that it will venture the TV market as well. Building upon its expertise in software, hardware, design, and product development gained for the past 5 years, it will try to deliver to users the benefits of intelligent connectivity via its first non-smartphone product - an intelligent TV set. It will feature "OnePlus' premium flagship design, image quality and audio experience to more seamlessly connect the home." This Chinese manufacturer is backed by BBK Electronics - the company that owns Oppo and Vivo - two other high-end smartphone manufacturers from China. With this move, OnePlus will probably directly compete with Xiaomi, which however entered the TV market 4 years ago. OnePlus is known for having a solid community of avid fans to whom the company addresses regularly a number of questions. This time, the 1+ community is asked to participate in naming the future TV.
