ViewSonic expands its Elite XG27 and XG05 gaming monitor seriesToday ViewSonic has announced several new gaming monitors that expand its Elite XG27 and XG05 series.

ViewSonic Elite XG270QG

The ViewSonic Elite XG270QG employs a 27-inch IPS Nano Color display panel with NVIDIA G-SYNC support. It offers up to 144Hz (165Hz OC) and a true 1 ms (GtG) response time. The panel has a QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) and covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color space. The monitor includes Elite design enhancements to improve the organization and elevate a gamer's setup. These include a built-in mouse bungee, headphone hook, ELITE RGB ambient lighting, and an ultra-thin brushed aluminium base.

ViewSonic Elite XG270

The ViewSonic Elite XG270 has a 27-inch 1080p IPS panel with a native 240Hz refresh rate and 1 ms (GTG) response time. The panel supports AMD Radeon FreeSync and covers 99% of the sRGB color space. It offers 1000:1 contrast ratio and 400 cd/m2 brightness. This model features 2x 3W stereo speakers and the Elite design enhancements mentioned above - a built-in mouse bungee, headphone hook, ELITE RGB ambient lighting.

ViewSonic Elite XG270QC

The ViewSonic Elite XG270QC is yet another 27-inch unit but this time a curved one. The VA panel has a 1500R curvature, QHD resolution (2560 x 1440), 550 cd/m2 brightness and higher than 90% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The monitor arrives with AMD Radeon FreeSync 2 technology support and provides a 165Hz refresh rate and 3 ms (1 ms MPRT) response time.

ViewSonic Elite XG2405 and XG2705

The ViewSonic Elite XG2405 and the ViewSonic Elite XG2705 are designed to offer a balance between essential gaming features and affordability. Both displays are equipped with 3-side borderless IPS displays with 1080p resolution and offer 144Hz refresh rate (AMD Radeon FreeSync) and 1 ms MPRT.

Availability

The XG270QG and XG270 will be available worldwide in November 2019, priced at USD 600 and USD 430, respectively. The XG2405 and XG2705 will be available in North America in Q1 2020, while the XG270QC will be available worldwide in Q1 2020.
