Almost two months after the announcement of the BenQ PV3250U, the brand also unveiled its 27-inch sibling - the BenQ PV2750U. This is a 4K reference‑grade monitor from BenQ's Color Pro series, engineered for commercial post‑production environments where dark‑tone fidelity, uniformity, and hardware‑level color accuracy determine the quality of the final image.
The PV2750U arrives at a moment when post‑production teams face increasing pressure to maintain consistent color decisions across multiple delivery platforms. Subtle shadow details - often the first to break down on consumer displays - remain a persistent challenge, leading to tonal inconsistencies, black crush, and costly re‑grading. BenQ's new model is built specifically to eliminate these blind spots.
At the core of the BenQ PV2750U is a 27-inch 4K IPS display with 100% sRGB, 100% Rec.709, and 99% DCI-P3 coverage, making it suitable for multi‑format production. It supports BenQ's AQCOLOR technology, paired with the new AQCOLOR Pilot calibration software. The monitor uses a 3000:1 contrast ratio IPS panel tuned to gamma 2.4, delivering predictable shadow rendering under Rec.709 conditions. BenQ claims 0.03‑nit black levels, meeting and exceeding Grade 1 SDR requirements and allowing editors to preserve texture and tonal separation without crushing blacks.
Each unit ships with a factory calibration report and Delta E ≤2 accuracy. A 16‑bit 3D LUT stored directly in the monitor's IC ensures long‑term stability and eliminates reliance on GPU‑based color adjustments.
