Dolby Vision 2 will debut on 2026 Philips OLED TVs, Hisense RGB MiniLED TVs, and TCL TVsDolby is accelerating the rollout of its next-generation imaging platform, Dolby Vision 2, as several major TV manufacturers announce plans to integrate the technology into their 2026 lineups. Hisense, TCL, and TP Vision's Philips brand are among the first to publicly commit support, signaling a broad industry shift toward more advanced picture processing and motion handling across premium and mid‑range televisions.

The company revealed that Hisense will bring Dolby Vision 2 to its 2026 RGB MiniLED models, including the Hisense UX, Hisense UR9, and Hisense UR8 series. The brand also intends to expand support to additional MiniLED sets through a future over‑the‑air update, widening access to the upgraded standard beyond its flagship offerings.

TCL is following a similar path, confirming that its 2026 TCL X QD‑Mini LED TVs and the 2026 TCL C Series, both of which will adopt Dolby Vision 2 via an OTA update.

Meanwhile, TP Vision plans to integrate the technology directly into its 2026 Philips OLED lineup, including the new Philips OLED811, Philips OLED911, and the Philips OLED951. These TVs will debut alongside a new Mini‑LED model known as the Philips PUS9001 DLED. All of the premium Philips TVs are expected to run on MediaTek's Pentonic 800 chipset, currently the only publicly announced platform with Dolby Vision 2 support.

About Dolby Vision 2

Dolby Vision 2 is Dolby's next‑generation picture technology, designed to extend the benefits of Dolby Vision beyond HDR and into a more holistic, scene‑by‑scene optimization system. It is powered by the Content Intelligence engine, which analyzes content in real time to enhance contrast, color, and detail, and by Authentic Motion, a new capability that improves motion rendering while preserving the original creative look. The standard is engineered to take full advantage of modern display hardware, enabling TVs to deliver a more authentic, precise, and uncompromising image across a wide variety of viewing conditions and content types.
