MSI offers Monitor Console Mode for select gaming monitorsMSI is expanding the hardware possibilities for all gamers with the launch of the Monitor Console Mode for select gaming monitors from its portfolio. This is in response to the increased demand by consumers to play console and PC games on monitors instead of TVs. However, the lack of QHD resolution output support is a major issue. MSI provides a relatively good solution. It has designed an exclusive Console Mode for the consoles, which can automatically accept 4K signals on QHD monitor, and support HDR simultaneously. This gives you the best gaming experiences and allows you to enjoy console games even with a QHD monitor. The list of MSI monitors that support the new Console Mode includes: The world's first 1000R AI Gaming Monitor - MPG ARTYMIS 343CQR, comes equipped with 3440 x1440 resolution, 1ms response time, and HDR400 to fully utilize the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series. The visual experience brought to you by this performance enhancement is expected to be launched in December of 2020, and will also support the Console Mode function so stay tuned.
