The 8K Sony Z8H, 4K Sony X950H and X900H LED TV series, Sony A9S and A8H OLED TVs - features overviewSony has unveiled its 2020 premium OLED and LED TVs at CES 2020. Generally, some features that were available only in its Master Series models will now trickle down to some downgraded series as part of the company's efforts to provide the best viewing experience for every range of TV. "Delivering a personalized, immersive and true-to-life viewing experience is a core focus when developing our next generation TVs," said Mike Fasulo, president and chief operating officer of Sony Electronics North America. "This lineup offers incredible new features to optimize the consumer experience and continue to deliver the creator's intent in both 4K and 8K resolution."

The 2020 Sony premium TVs will arrive with the Picture Processor X1 Ultimate on board, TRILUMINOS display, Sound-from-Picture Reality. DIsplaying most correctly content creators' intent will depend on features such as Netflix Calibrated Mode, IMAX Enhanced. A new feature in Sony TVs is the Ambient Optimization which optimizes picture and sound quality in any customer environment and is based on the Acoustic Auto Calibration that detects where the customer views their TV from during initial setup and calibrates sound quality based on the environment. Sony's premim TVS for 2020 will have the new Immersive Edge design concept with a less noticeable, noiseless stand that's located at the edge of the screen. Finally, select 2020 Sony TV models are created to support next-generation gaming consoles by supporting 8K HDR (7680 x 4320), 4K (3840 x 2160) at 120 fps and fast response time via HDMI inputs to deliver maximum gaming performance.
