Samsung ViewFinity S8 models go on sale - S32D806U, S32D806E, S27D806U, S27D806E

The 2024 Samsung ViewFinity S8 monitors are now on sale. The series comprises four models priced as follows:
- Samsung S32D806U - USD 490
- Samsung S32D806E - USD 450
- Samsung S27D806U - USD 460
- Samsung S27D806E - USD 420
The connectivity options of the Samsung S32D806U and S27D806U include an HDMI 2.0 port, a DisplayPort 1.2 input, a headphone jack, three USB Type-A ports, a USB Type-B port, a USB Type-C port with 90W power delivery, and a LAN port. They also support KVM switch functionality. The Samsung S32D806E and S27D806E have all these without the LAN and USB-C ports. Hence, no KVM for those models. The features shared by all four include Adaptive Picture, Auto Source Switch+, Eco Saving Plus, Eye Saver Mode, Off Timer Plus, Picture-by-Picture, and Picture-in-Picture.
For 2024, the Samsung ViewFinity S8 monitors help recycling efforts by being made with a minimum of 10% recycled plastic and not applying chemical sprays to the plastic components. The packaging also uses glue instead of staples for easier disassembly.
