HP OMEN 27 G2 goes official with a 27" FHD IPS display and a 180Hz refresh rate

HP OMEN 27 G2 is the last in the new OMEN series announced today by HP. It resembles its HP OMEN 27q G2 sibling in every detail except for the resolution - the HP OMEN 27 G2 has an FHD resolution on a 27-inch IPS display. The model supports 1 ms GTG response time with Overdrive and a 180Hz refresh rate with AMD FreeSync, Adaptive-Sync, and ClearMR certifications. It is also eye-safe and flicker-free certified by TUV Rheinland. The 3-sided borderless screen covers 99% of the sRGB and 95% of the DCI-P3 color space. It delivers a typical brightness of 400 nits for VESA DIsplayHDR 400 certification and a static contrast ratio of 100:1. The connectivity options comprise two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 input, and a headphone jack. The stand supports height, pivot, and tilt adjustment. The HP OMEN 27 G2 Gaming Monitor is expected to be available in May for a starting price of USD 250.
