Asus ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDPG specifications and featuresAsus ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDPG was announced at CES 2025 in January. Asus has just listed the full specifications of this monitor. It uses a QD-OLED display panel with a 26.5-inch diagonal size, a QHD resolution, and a 500Hz refresh rate. The monitor supports native 10-bit color bit depth with 145% sRGB and 99% DCI-P3 color space coverage. The typical brightness of the screen measures 300 nits and the peak one hits 1000 nits. 0.03 GTG response time is also specified. The model is VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black, VESA AdaptiveSync Display 500Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible certified.

New ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 technology minimizes onscreen flicker, enabling comfortable gaming experiences. The advanced luminance compensation algorithm dynamically boosts pixel brightness during refresh rate fluctuations to ensure more consistent visuals without increasing input lag or compromising refresh rates. The Refresh Rate Cap reduces onscreen flicker, covering a wider refresh rate range. The Asus ELMB technology reduces ghosting and motion blur. The ROG AI Assistant technology in XG27AQDPG includes AI Visual, AI Crosshair, and AI Shadow Boost, leveraging AI technology to help you practice more effectively to improve your gaming experience. The Asus in-game enhancements are also included - GamePlus, GameVisual, and GameFast Input.

The Asus OLED Care Pro features protect the OLED panel to ensure longevity. It includes a new Neo Proximity Sensor that detects your distance from the monitor and transitions to a black image when you're away to safeguard the panel from burn-in. Additional features comprise Pixel Cleaning, Screen Mode, Boundary Detection, Screen Saver, Logo Brightness Adjustment, Taskbar Detection, Outer Dimming Control, Global Dimming Control, and Target Mode. Uniform Brightness is another handy feature that decreases peak brightness to keep levels consistent for better viewing whenever you change the size of bright white windows. The monitor allows you to switch to a 4:3 aspect ratio with 1280 x 960 or 1024 x 768 resolutions. Alternatively, users can play on a 24.5-inch (simulation) at a 500 Hz refresh rate.

The Asus ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDPG is fitted with a fully ergonomic stand with a compact base. It enables up to 110 mm of height adjustment, a bi-directional pivot, +/-45 degrees of swivel, and -5 to 20 degrees of tilt. The connectivity options of the monitor include two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 input with DSC, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Type-B port, and a headphone jack.
