TPVision forms a strategic alliance with Titan OSTitan OS announced the launch of its operations and the introduction of an independent European operating system for smart TVs, while debuting its Titan advertising division. The brand has formed a strategic alliance with TPVision, having already enjoyed an exclusive partnership for the company’s Linux-based TVs, and is set to be offered on selected Philips and AOC TVs in Europe and Latin America. The new operating system will initially feature on two mid-range models, the PML9009 Mini LED and the PUS8909 premium LED models, both to be launched in the first half of 2024. The operating system will provide customer access to an extensive list of premium applications and channels on Philips branded TVs, including Disney+, Netflix, Prime Video, Youtube, Pluto TV, DAZN, among many others.

Lowpass report: the Philips Smart TV platform gets a name - Titan OS

Lowpass Janko Roettgers reported earlier this month that TP Vision will launch a new TV OS at the end of January 2024. The information comes from a "source familiar with the company’s plans." The platform is named Titan OS and it seems that some Philips TV models might already be running versions of the OS.
