MediaTek and Portrait Displays collaborate on color calibration technologies in Smart TVsMediaTek and Portrait Displays have announced a partnership that will enhance MediaTek Smart TV platforms with Portrait Displays Calman Ready technology. Together this will provide realistic and authentic visual imagery, taking the scenery straight from the director's lens into viewers' living rooms.

Portrait Displays' Calman Ready technology addresses color variations from different types of display panels, while MediaTek is the world's number 1 Smart TV platform provider by sales. To address color variations from different types of panels, MediaTek is incorporating Calman Ready technology into its smart TV solutions. This will enable display and device manufacturers (OEMs) the ability to offer consumers a seamless path to color calibration when partnering with Portrait Displays' Calman Ready integrated solution.
