The Samsung C34G55T from the Odyssey G5 gaming series appears online

The Samsung C34G55T from the Odyssey G5 gaming series was announced in July along with the other two monitors from the series - the Samsung C32G55T and the Samsung C27G55T. However, it was only mentioned and Samsung did not unveil its specifications. Recently, the monitor started appearing on various local European Samsung website, so the initial specifications are now unveiled.
The Samsung C34G55T has a 34-inch VA panel with a 100R curvature, WQHD resolution (3440 x 1440), 250 nits typical brightness, 2500:1 static contrast ratio. The monitor support AMD FreeSync Premium for up to 165Hz refresh rate (overclocked). In a similar fashion to the other models from the ODyssey G5 series, the stand provides tilt adjustment only and can be removed for VESA wall mounting (75 x 75 mm). A coupled of HDMI 2.0 inputs, DisplayPort 1.4, and a headphone jack are provided as well. The monitor's software features also include Low Input Lag Mode, Picture-by-Picture, Refresh Rate Optimizer, Screen Size Optimizer, Super Arena Gaming UX, Black Equalizer, Flicker-free technology, Low Blue Light, etc. The monitor should be available for sale by the end of November priced at around EUR 500.
A similar monitor (34" WHQD VA 165Hz 1000R) is the AOC CU34G3S. For now, it is available in China only and costs CNY 3,999 (USD 608 / EUR 511).
