Asus PA27UCGE ProArt Display fully unveiled with a LuxPixel AGLR display and a built-in colorimeter

The Asus PA27UCGE ProArt Display was announced in December 2024. Now, this professional monitor is fully unveiled. It is built around a 27-inch 4K IPS display with LuxPixel technology. The latter is an anti-glare, low-reflection (AGLR) coating that creates a paper-like screen effect. Unlike traditional matte panels which often soften imagery, LuxPixel technology minimizes reflections to ensure the user sees accurate colors and sharp details. Moreover, this ProArt monitor is equipped with the Asus Light Sync technology, featuring two sensors designed to ensure remarkable color accuracy and precise color temperature, right on startup. A backlight sensor automatically detects backlight brightness to compensate for deviations at startup, eliminating warm-up time and ensuring accurate color performance, so you can dive straight into work. An ambient light sensor automatically adjusts display brightness and color temperature based on changes in environmental lighting, ensuring true colors every time.
The 10-bit Asus PA27UCGE ProArt Display delivers a peak brightness of 600 nits with VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification and covers 98% of the DCI-P3 and 100% of the sRGB color space. Most likely, it uses the AUO M270QAN07.0 display panel. It is factory-calibrated to Delta E<1 color accuracy using a new, three-scale process to guarantee industry-leading color fidelity. The Asus ProArt Hardware Calibration software works in both SDR and HDR modes. It saves all color parameter profiles directly on the ProArt monitor’s internal scaler IC chip instead of the PC. Users can also use ProArt Calibration to schedule regular calibration intervals. The monitor includes a built-in colorimeter with an innovative self-calibration feature. This standalone solution is compatible with any operating system and doesn’t require additional calibration software. Users may run the calibration process at any time, or schedule it during off hours through the OSD menu. This ProArt Display works seamlessly with third-party Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS professional hardware calibration software. It can also write back color parameters into our ProArt displays, making calibration faster and easier.
Asus Smart HDR enables the monitor to support various HDR formats including HDR 10 and HLG. HDR Preview enables a direct camera-to-monitor connection to view captured HDR content in full tonal range. Multiple PQ curves are also supported. With up to a 160Hz refresh rate the Asus PA27UCGE is ideal for gaming and game developers. Built-in Auto KVM makes multitasking across two devices a breeze. The monitor has a USB 3.2 Type-C port with DP Alt Mode and 96W power delivery. There's also a USB Type-C downstream port, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 input, and a headphone jack. PbP and PiP are also supported. The monitor has a fully adjustable stand with up to 120 mm of height adjustment, -5 to 23 degrees of tilt, a bi-directional pivot, and +/-30 degree swivel. It also arrives with a detachable, wraparound hood in the box.
