The QN85F series is very similar to the QN80F one. In fact, the only differences are as follows: This Samsung QN85F series uses last year's NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor enabling AI 4K Upscaling, AI Auto Game Mode, AI Image Quality Optimization, AI Motion Enhancer Pro, Auto HDR Remastering, Color Booster Pro, Contrast Enhancer, Dynamic Black EQ, Game Motion Plus, HDR Brightness Optimizer, Real Depth Enhancer, Supreme UHD Dimming, and others. Supersize Picture Enhancer is also enabled for the bigger models. All TVs support a native refresh rate of 120Hz with a VRR of up to 144Hz and Motion Xcelerator 144Hz, respectively, and all adjoining gaming features known from previous generations. For 2025, the QN85F also arrives with the new Samsung Vision AI suite of features, including Live Translate, Generative Wallpaper, Pet & Family Care, Home Insight, Universal Gesture, and Quick Control.

The Samsung QN85F series also supports the following sound-enhancing features: Active Voice Amplifier Pro, Adaptive Sound Pro, Bluetooth Audio, Dolby Atmos, Moving Sound Lite (Object Tracking Sound Lite), Q-Symphony, Surround Sound, and others. The connectivity options include four HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB Type-A ports, a LAN port, an optical audio out, and the corresponding antenna/cable/sat inputs depending on the market. The Samsung QN85F series has a Simple Chamfer Design with an Aero Center Stand and includes the following models:
