Asus ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDMSR is unveiled with a 4th Gen QD-OLED display Add as a preferred source on Google The Asus ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDMSR has been launched as the successor of last year's Asus ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDMS and introduces a major change - the display has been upgraded from a 3rd Gen QD-OLED to a 4th Gen QD-OLED, with several consequential changes that naturally follow.

First, the SDR and peak HDR brightness increase to 300 nits and 1300 nits, respectively. The VESA DisplayHDR tier is now moved up to DisplayHDR 500 TrueBlack. Second, the BlackShield Film also introduced not only improved anti-glare and anti-reflection coating, but also increased hardness and improved durability. Finally, the new Penta Tandem QD-OLED also delivers an increased refresh rate of up to 320Hz.

In everything else, the two monitors are almost identical. The QD-OLED display panel preserves the 26.5-inch diagonal size and QHD resolution plus a 0.03 ms GTG response time, which together with Asus's ELMB technology should ensure high-end motion clarity. With Asus OLED Care Pro, you can rest assured the OLED panel is well taken care of. It includes the new Neo Proximity Sensor that detects your distance from the monitor and transitions to a black image when you’re away to safeguard the panel from burn-in. The Asus traditional suite of gaming features is also present - AI Visual, Dynamic Crosshair, Dynamic Shadow Boost, GamePlus, GameVisual, and GameFast Input.

The Asus ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDMSR holds AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, and VESA AdaptiveSync Display 320Hz certifications, as well as eye safety certifications with TÜV Rheinland for being flicker-free and having hardware-level low blue light protection.

The connectivity and ergonomic options remain unchanged. The monitor's fully ergonomic stand enables up to 110 mm of height adjustment, a bi-directional pivot, +/-45 degrees of swivel, and -5 to 20 degrees of tilt. The connectivity options include a single HDMI 2.1 port, a DisplayPort 1.4 input with HBR3, a USB Type-C port with 15W power delivery, and a headphone jack.
