TCL C845 4K Mini LED 144Hz TVs with QLED go official

Back in January, TCL said that it would unveil more large-screen Mini LED TVs in the spring. True to its promise, the brand unveiled a duo of Mini LED series for this model year. The first one is the TCL C845 one, which won the Display Technology Innovation Gold Award in January this year.

The C84 series for 2023 comprises a total of four models:- TCL 85C845 - specifications
- TCL 75C845 - specifications
- TCL 65C845 - specifications
- TCL 55C845 - specifications
For gamers, the TCL C845 series offers the updated Game Master Pro 2.0 which includes 144Hz Motion Clarity Pro thanks to the 144Hz refresh rate supported by the TVs, HFR and VRR support via two HDMI 2.1 ports, Game Bar, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification, and a 240Hz Game Accelerator. The latter is a new feature using Dual Line Gate that auto-adjusts content to bring a higher refresh rate and lower latency. On the C84 Series, a 240Hz refresh rate is achieved via unique algorithms and TCL technology. Game resolution is automatically set to FHD to allow 240Hz.
In terms of sound, the TCL C845 series arrives with a 2.1CH 70W Onkyo sound system with Dolby Atmos. The TVs run on Google TV based on Android 11 with support for Google Meet, Google Assistant, Apple Airplay 2, Apple HomeKit, and Alexa. Far-field voice control is on board as well. The connectivity options of the C84 series include two HDMI 2.1 inputs, two HDMI 2.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, a headphone jack, an AV Composite input in a 3.5 mm jack, a LAN port, optical audio out, a satellite and an antenna RF input. Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, and DLNA 1.5 are also supported.
As for the design, the C84 TVs feature a 3-sided bezelless design with a metal central stand.
