[UPDATED] Pixio PX259 Prime goes on sale with a 24.5" FHD IPS display, 280Hz refresh rate

The Pixio PX250 Prime is a new desktop monitor that has just been launched in Japan. International availability remains unknown at the moment. This gaming monitor packs a 24.5-inch IPS panel from AUO. It has an FHD resolution and supports up to 280Hz refresh rate (AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible). 1 ms GTG response time is also specified. The monitor's stand offers tilt adjustment only and when removed it allows for VESA wall mounting with 75 x 75 mm holes. The connectivity options include two HDMI 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort 1.2 inputs, and a headphone jack. The Pixio PX250 Prime has a pair of 3W stereo speakers as well. The monitor is priced at JPY 37,980 which translates to USD 359 or EUR 297. [UPDATE] On the international Pixio website, the model is priced at USD 300. Evidently, it is internationally available as well.
