In conjunction with a specially designed wall bracket, the GX Gallery series with 55, 65 and 77 inches can be installed completely flat on the wall. The GX Gallery series is made up of the ultra-thin LG OLED WX wallpaper series (models with 77 and 65 inches), the groundbreaking rollable LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R (model 65RX) and the new LG OLED ZX Real 8K TVs (2020) 77 and 88 inch models) with their luxurious to refined appearance - when switched on as well as when switched off.The 48-inch TV format is also completely new: the 2020 version of the popular 4K OLED-C series, which was previously only available with the screen diagonals of 77, 65 and 55 inches, is now also available in a 48-inch size. LG is introducing this size category specifically for consumers who do not have enough space at home, but still want to benefit from the unprecedented picture quality of LG OLED TVs.
Progressive core technologies for ultimate entertainment properties All new LG OLED TVs have LG's advanced core technologies, including the new α (Alpha) 9 Gen 3 AI processor (from C series). By combining the self-emitting OLED technology with perfect black and vivid colors, the support for Dolby Vision IQ, the new Filmmaker Mode of the UHD Alliance and the immersive Dolby Atmos sound, the new LG OLED TVs bring extremely realistic pictures and sounds into the living room. The new Dolby Vision IQ feature realizes the optimal image quality regardless of the ambient light conditions or the content genre. The new Filmmaker Mode delivers the images exactly as the Hollywood directors wanted. By suppressing certain post-processing effects (motion smoothing, noise reduction, and sharpening) and perfectly maintaining correct aspect ratios, colors and frame rates, the LG OLED TVs faithfully reproduces the original version of the filmmakers. The LG OLED TVs were awarded the "Excellence in Engineering Award" by the Hollywood Professional Association as the first and only products with integrated calibration software at hardware level.
Exciting for gamers: Another industry-wide premiere is the HGiG mode of the HDR Gaming Interest Group, which ensures that gamers on their LG TVs can benefit from the same high-quality graphics as was developed for HDR game consoles. For intensive game sessions, OLED TVs from LG are even particularly easy on the eyes. They received the "Eye Comfort Display" certification from the testing and certification body TÜV Rheinland for the reduction of the blue light component, flicker-free images and excellent image quality from every angle. The LG OLED screens meet all TÜV test criteria, also with regard to a wide color spectrum and HDR.
LG is the first provider of TVs with NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility to expand this capability to nine OLED TVs this year. With an unprecedented variable refresh rate and an ultra-short 120 Hz response time, the televisions offer an extremely short input delay and a detailed picture world for an unforgettable gaming experience.
