LG 49GR85DC goes official with a 49" DQHD curved display and a 240Hz refresh rate

More than three months ago, the LG 49GR85DC passed NRRA certification and now the product is ready for market launch. The monitor features a 49-inch super ultra-wide display with a DQHD resolution - 5120 x 1440 pixels. The curved VA panel supports 10-bit color depth and covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color space. It has a typical brightness of 450 nits and a static contrast ratio of 2500:1. With VESA DisplayHDR 1000, the monitor supports peak HDR brightness at around 1000 nits. Moreover, it has a native refresh rate of 240Hz nad is AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certified. The LG 49GR85DC is equipped with two HDMI ports, DisplayPort input, a 4-pole jack for headphones and a mic, a USB 3.0 upstream port, and two USB 3.0 downstream ports. The stand offers height, swivel, and tilt adjustment. The monitor supports PiP and PbP, Reader Mode, HDR Effect, and Color Weakness Mode. For gaming, it arrives with Crosshair, Black Stabilizer, FPS Counter, etc. There's a Hexagon Lighting on the rear shell for improved ambiance.
