Asus ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG debuts with a 240Hz glossy QHD WOLED panelAsus ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG has been quietly unveiled today as the successor of last year's Asus ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM. Equipped with a 3rd generation WOLD panel, the new monitor delivers 20% brighter imagery than its predecessor. It uses LG Display's META technology to achieve this, including 20% wider viewing angles. In addition, the Clear Pixel Edge algorithm reduced green and red fringing on text and lines for improved reading. Asus's Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology reduced ghosting and motion blur. The panel uses ROG-exclusive OLED anti-flicker technology. The glossy finish of the monitor delivers improved viewing in dim environments.

Asus ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG is built around a 26.5-inch OLED display with a QHD resolution and 99% DCI-P3 color space coverage. The model delivers 0.03 ms GTG response time and up to a 240Hz refresh rate. Inside the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG lies a custom heatsink and an innovative internal component layout designed to draw heat away from the OLED panel to minimize the likelihood of image burn-in. It is part of the Asus OLED Care package. Moreover, the exclusive uniform brightness function helps deal with auto brightness limiter issues. It maintains a consistent brightness even when you change the size of bright windows. Additionally, there's no need to navigate the OSD menu to tweak settings - you can do this with a mouse via the new DisplayWidget Center.

The Asus ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology and is NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible. It arrives with various Asus features on board including GamePlus, GameVisual, GameFast Input, etc. The ergonomic stand allows up to 120 mm of height adjustment, a bi-directional pivot, +/-45 degrees of swivel, and -5 to 20 degrees of tilt. The connectivity options include two HDMI 2.0 inputs, DisplayPort 1.4 input, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a headphone jack. The rear panel has an Aura Sync RGB light system. For convenience, the XG27AQDMG features a smaller footprint that takes up minimal desktop space and has a built-in phone holder so mobile devices are within easy reach. It has an MSRP of US$ 699 and will be available on May 30, 2024.
