Sony presents a 27" Gaming Monitor for PlayStation with a built-in DualSense Charging Hook

Since the launch of the PlayStation 5, players have embraced the flexibility of choosing where they play their favorite games—whether it’s on a big screen TV in the living room, in other areas of the home, or remotely through the PlayStation Portal remote player. To keep pace with these evolving trends, Sony Interactive Entertainment is introducing a new option with the upcoming 27" Gaming Monitor featuring a built-in DualSense Charging Hook, set to arrive in the U.S. and Japan in 2026.
The new PlayStation gaming monitor is designed to complement the recently announced Pulse Elevate wireless speakers, which deliver lifelike desktop audio and seamless voice chat. Together, these products create a high-quality desktop gaming experience tailored for players who want the option of enjoying PS5 games in more personal spaces.
Developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, the 27" Gaming Monitor brings the latest PS5 visuals directly to the desktop. It features an IPS display with resolution up to 2560 x 1440 (QHD), offering crisp detail at a comfortable viewing distance. High Dynamic Range support with Auto HDR Tone Mapping ensures rich and vivid picture quality by automatically adjusting HDR settings during setup on PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles. The monitor also supports VRR with refresh rates up to 120 Hz for smooth gameplay on PS5 and PS5 Pro, and up to 240 Hz on compatible PC and Mac devices. A built-in Charging Hook for a DualSense or DualSense Edge wireless controller makes it easy for players to jump right into gaming.
The monitor is compatible with VESA mounting systems and includes a full suite of audio and connectivity options. It offers two HDMI 2.1 inputs and one DisplayPort 1.4 input with DSC. Players will also find two USB Type-A ports and one USB Type-C port that can be used with PlayStation Link adapters or other devices. Built-in stereo speakers and a 3.5mm audio output provide flexible sound options, making the monitor a versatile addition to any setup.
