2021 Hisense U6G / U68G 4K ULED TVs for the USA - specifications and featuresHisense has launched its 2021 4K ULED TVs from the U6G/U68G series in the USA. The brand's ULED is the designation of its own Quantum Dot Color technology. The series comprises of four models: The Hisense U6G / U68G series is based on Android TV and arrives with Chromecast built-in, Google Assistant, and Alexa support. Hisense did not specify the processor but mentions a few picture quality enhancing features such as AI Picture Optimization, Quantum Dot Color (of course), Wide Color Gamut, Diital Noise Reduction, MEMC (Motion Estimation Motion Compensation), 4K upscaling, etc. The TVs feature 4K panels with 60Hz native refresh rate and Direct LED backlight with FALD. The general series page mentions up to 60 local dimming zones depending on the model size. The available specifications sheet of the 75" model mentions 48 local dimming zones. This is either a hint that a larger model is about to be launched or is a mistake. In addition, Hisense mentions 250-300 nits of typical brightness and 600 nits of peak brightness for the series. HDR10+ and Dolby Vision certifications are also provided. The Hisense 75U6G / 75U68G has a pair of 15W speakers, while the rest of the models have two 10W speakers, each. Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X are supported. The connectivity options of the Hisense U6G / U68G series includes four HDMI 2.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports, LAN port, cable/antenna input, optical audio out, headphone jack. The 75" model has an AV composite in a 3.5 mm jack, while the other models have AV composite in port (video+audio L/R). A voice remote control is included in the box.
