The 2020 Dell E series of monitors goes on sale, includes E2720H, E2720HS, E2420H, E2420HS, E2220HThe 2020 Dell E series of desktop monitors was announced on January 2 and as of today, all 7 models from the series are on sale and include:

Dell E2720HS, E2720H, E2420HS, E2420H

The Dell E2720HS is the largest and most expensive model of all. It features a 27-inch IPS panel with 1080p resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 72% NTSC color space coverage and 5 ms GTG response time. The display has a typical brightness of 300 nits, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 178-degree viewing angles (h/v). The stand can be removed for 100 x 100 mm VESA wall mounting and offers tilt and height adjustment. There are an HDMI 1.4 port and a VGA port plus two speakers on board. The Dell E2720H is the same but does not offer height adjustment and instead of an HDMI 1.4 port has a DisplayPort 1.2.

The Dell E2420HS has the same specifications as the E2720HS but has a smaller display - a 24-inch one. Of course, its dimensions, weight and power consumption are lower compared to the 27-inch model. The Dell E2420H monitor offers the same specs and features as its sibling without height adjustment and has a DisplayPort 1.2 instead of an HDMI 1.4 one.

Dell E2220H, E2020H, E1920H

The Dell E2220H has a 21.5-inch TN panel with 170/160-degree viewing angles, 1080p resolution, 72% NTSC color space coverage and 5 ms GTG response time. The typical brightness of the model is 250 nits and the static contrast ratio is 1000:1. The stand can be removed for VESA wall mounting and offers tilt adjustment only. The connectivity options include a VGA and a DisplayPort 1.2 inputs. No speakers for this model and the ones that follow.

The Dell E2020H offers a 19.5-inch TN panel with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels, 170/160-degree viewing angles, the same brightness and contrast ratio as the previous model. It also offers the same features, connectivity and ergonomic options.

Finally, there's the most basic model of all - the Dell E1920H. It has an 18.5-inch TN panel with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and a typical brightness of 200 nits. The static contrast ratio is 600:1. The viewing angles are a bit strange - 90/65 degrees. This monitor has a VDA and a DisplayPort 1.2 inputs, offers tilt adjustment only.
